Refunds and Returns Policy

Refunds are an important part of customer service at The 7 Space. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines our refund and return procedures for classes, workshops, memberships, artwork, and wellness services.

Class and Workshop Refunds Policy

Student-Initiated Cancellations

If you need to cancel your registration for a class or workshop, please notify us as soon as possible:

  • More than 7 days before start: Full refund or credit toward future classes
  • 3-7 days before start: 50% refund or full credit toward future classes
  • Less than 3 days before start: No refund, but credit may be applied to future classes at our discretion
  • After class begins: No refund or credit

Instructor or Venue Cancellations

If we must cancel a class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment, instructor unavailability, or facility issues, you will receive:

  • Full refund of your payment, OR
  • Full credit to apply toward any future class or workshop

Membership Refunds and Cancellations

Monthly memberships may be canceled at any time, but must be submitted before the next billing cycle to avoid charges. Annual memberships are non-refundable after 30 days from purchase date.

Artwork Refunds

Gallery Purchases

Artwork purchased from our gallery is final sale unless:

  • The piece arrives damaged during shipping
  • There is a significant discrepancy from the description
  • The artist or gallery made an error

In these cases, contact us within 7 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange.

Commission Work

Custom commissions require a non-refundable 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due upon completion. If you are not satisfied with the final piece, we will work with the artist to make reasonable modifications.

Wellness Service Refunds

Cancellation Policy

Wellness sessions (massage, yoga private sessions, etc.) must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full session fee.

Service Dissatisfaction

If you are not satisfied with a wellness service, please speak with the practitioner immediately. We will work to address your concerns, which may include a partial refund or complimentary follow-up session.

Special Events and Private Rentals Refunds

  • More than 30 days before event: 75% refund of deposit
  • 15-30 days before event: 50% refund of deposit
  • Less than 15 days before event: No refund

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or discuss a concern:

  1. Email us at [email protected] with your order number and reason for the request
  2. Call us at our Newark location during business hours
  3. Visit us in person at The 7 Space in downtown Newark

Refund requests are typically processed within 5-7 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Exceptions and Special Circumstances

We understand that emergencies and extenuating circumstances occur. If you have a special situation (medical emergency, family crisis, etc.), please contact us to discuss potential accommodations.
